Exciting News: Social Connections Welcomes Registered Behaviour Analysts!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you all! As of July 1st, 2024, Services in Ontario will now be supervised by Registered Behaviour Analysts (R.B.A) under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
We are delighted to announce that at Social Connections ABA Therapy Inc. Jessica Pero, Brianne Jones, and Danielle Ryksen have successfully completed and passed the registration process, ensuring that our services at Social Connections are in capable hands.

Jessica is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A) / Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a Master’s Degree from Brock University with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Jessica started in the field as an Instructor Therapist, working for various in-person centres as well as completing in-home therapy. After completing her Master's in Applied Disability Studies, Jessica became a Clinical Supervisor.
Jessica enjoys working with young children and families on skill building, specifically on goals such as communication, play, daily living skills and academics.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her four-year old son, and Bernese Mountain dog Thunder!

Brianne Jones

Brianne is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A) / Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with a Master’s Degree from Brock University with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Brianne has over seven years experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) in a clinical setting and has three years of experience working and volunteering with children with various developmental disabilities in school environments. Brianne has gained valuable experience as an Instructor Therapist, Senior Therapist and Clinical Supervisor.
Brianne focuses on the skill acquisition of socially significant behaviours, and her main goal is to ensure that all services provided are family-centred and will positively influence your child’s overall quality of life by increasing independence, communication, and safety.

Clinical Supervisors
Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A) / Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA): An individual who has completed a graduate (master’s) degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, completed the required number of field placement hours and passed the certification process. Maintains certification by taking continuing education credits (ABA related courses) to ensure the most effective therapy is provided. Often acts in a supervisory capacity and oversees Clinical Coordinators, Senior Therapists, and Instructor Therapists. Provides direct (assessments, therapy, consultations) and indirect (reports, program development, research) services.
Clinical Coordinator: An individual who has completed an undergraduate degree, taken an Applied Behavior Analysis course sequence (Autism Behaviour Science Program). Provides direct and indirect services. Must be supervised by a R.B.A/BCBA.

Instructor Therapists
Instructor Therapist: an individual who works directly with the learner during therapy sessions. Our therapists often possess a related undergraduate degree, such as psychology, or a college diploma in fields like early childhood education. Instructor therapists must be supervised by a Regulated Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A) / Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the therapy provided. They are passionate professionals who love working with children and are dedicated to helping all individuals by teaching new skills through evidence-based interventions and techniques.
