Our Values

Family Focused

At Social Connections we involve parents and caregivers in the entire ABA process; from goal setting, generalizing skills to home and participating in learning opportunities. We believe that collaboration with a child’s family is an essential component for ABA therapy to be successful as it ensures consistency across the environments that matter the most.

Evidenced Based Practice

Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA) are sciencist-practitioners who utilize empirical research to guide their applied practice. As a result Social Connections can guarantee each individual who receives our services will be provided the most effective treatment.

Peer Positivity

One of the most common challenges for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is the domain of social skills. Social skills include: conversation skills, play interactions, perspective taking, making inferences, and most importantly building relationships. At Social Connections we believe that building relationships will significantly improve quality of life. As a result, it is necessary to teach children how to successfully navigate social situations in a safe, fun learning environment.

Compassionate Care

Our goal is to develop a compassionate and friendly atmosphere in which children can have fun and learn new skills along the way. Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder face many challenges in their day to day life, as a result we desire to make learning fun providing an environment which will allow kids to be kids.
